Taste of Home Giveaway: Contest Rules and Conditions 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. 

The following promotion is intended for participants in academic and exchange programs based in the 50 United States and Washington D.C. only. The contest shall be construed and evaluated according to the laws of the United States. Void where prohibited. Further eligibility restrictions are contained in the Official Rules below. 

The “Taste of Home Giveaway” ("Contest") begins on Sunday, December 1, 2024, and ends on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Time ("ET") ("Contest Period"). The sponsor of this Contest is Insubuy, LLC., 2745 W 600 N, Suite 500 Lindon, UT 84042 (“Sponsor”). The Sponsor is solely responsible for the administration and execution of the Contest. 

ELIGIBILITY 

The Contest is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry, are: 

• Holding a valid non-immigrant visa for students (F-1), exchange visitors (J-1), or similar visa status issued by the U.S. government, indicating they are an international student or exchange visitor temporarily residing in the United States. 
• At least eighteen (18) years of age; 
• Currently enrolled as a student at a U.S. institution OR currently employed as an exchange visitor. Possessing a valid ID or other verification of enrollment or employed status; 

Exclusions: Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, promotion and advertising agencies, along with immediate family members and/or those living in the same household (collectively, “Contest Entities”), are not eligible to participate. 

Participants are responsible for ensuring that entering the Contest does not violate the terms of their visa or legal residency status. Entries will not be acknowledged except as provided herein. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be substituted, sold, or bartered. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 

HOW TO ENTER 

Eligible Participants may enter the Contest via the following method: 

• Online Entry: Visit www.insubuy.com/taste-of-home-giveaway/ and complete the registration form with your full name, physical address, email address, and student verification (e.g., student ID or university email). Submit a short paragraph (50-100 words) describing a dish you miss when you're overseas. Click “Submit” to receive one (1) entry into the Contest. Entries will be judged on creativity and quality based on criteria defined by the Sponsor. 

Limit of one (1) entry per person for the Contest duration, regardless of entry method. Entries generated by script, macro, or other automated means will be disqualified. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Participation in the Contest constitutes Participant's understanding of, and agreement to, these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who violates these rules. 

JUDGING CRITERIA 

This is a skill-based contest. Winners will be selected based on the creativity and quality of their submissions, as judged against predefined criteria established by the Sponsor. The judging process will be conducted by Insubuy employees, and if necessary, a third-party service may be utilized to ensure fairness and legal compliance. There are no odds of winning; submissions are chosen based on merit through this judging process. 

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION 

On or about Wednesday, Feb 12, 2025, one hundred (100) potential winners will be selected by Insubuy employees based on the creativity and quality of their submissions, as judged against predefined criteria. If necessary, a third-party service can be used to ensure legal compliance. The potential winners will be notified by email using the address provided on the entry form. The potential winners must respond within five (5) days of notification. Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected. The potential winners must verify their address, sign, and return a set of Prize Claim Documents, including an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and, unless prohibited by law, a publicity release. Failure to return the documents within the specified time may result in prize forfeiture. 

PRIZES 

One hundred (100) winners will be awarded a $75 e-gift card, delivered to the email address registered, and redeemable on DoorDash. 

Total Prize Budget: $7,500

Practicality & Flexibility: Winners can use the gift cards for food delivery services, offering convenience and ease of use. 

The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize, or portions thereof, with a prize of equal or greater value due to unavailability or other reasons. No cash alternative will be provided, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If the winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize as stated, the prize may be forfeited in its entirety at the Sponsor's discretion. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, except where required by law. 

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION/RELEASES 

By participating, each Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Participants release the Sponsor and other Contest Entities from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or relating to their participation in the Contest and the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize. The winners grant the Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, and entry materials for promotional purposes worldwide, in perpetuity, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The Sponsor is not liable for: 

(i) any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from participation in the Contest or the use of the prize; 

(ii) technical malfunctions, data corruption, or unauthorized access to entry data; 

(iii) lost, delayed, or misdirected entries; or 

(iv) any other issues beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor. 

TAXES 

Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize in the United States, as well as any tax implications under their own country’s tax laws. The Sponsor recommends consulting a tax professional for advice on reporting obligations in both the U.S. and the winner’s country of citizenship or residence. 

DISPUTES 

This Contest is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas. Any disputes that cannot be resolved and arise out of or connected with this Contest will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Collin County, Texas. Participants agree to waive the right to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including attorneys' fees. Participants must explicitly acknowledge and agree to this clause when entering the Contest. 

PRIVACY POLICY 

Any personal information supplied by Participants will be subject to the Sponsor’s privacy policy available at www.insubuy.com/privacy-policy. By entering the Contest, Participants grant the Sponsor permission to use their information for Contest administration and prize fulfillment. The Sponsor will take reasonable measures to ensure data security and will not share Participants' information with third parties except as necessary for the administration of the Contest.
